Kicheche Bush Camp Olare is a small, classic,
intimate, luxury tented camp completely unfenced and
is located in the Olare Orok Conservancy to the
northeast of the Masai Mara National reserve in
southwest Kenya. This lovely little camp is built to
a much higher specification than many much more
expensive options. It may be a little bit further
east on the conservancy than would be ideal, but
does enjoy full access to this superb private game
area
Kicheche Bush Camp holds six spacious, fully
insect-proof custom designed tents, equipped with
twin or double beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage
racks and rugs. Bathrooms are en-suite and are
equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and a
traditional safari bucket shower with a view. There
are comfortable chairs on each veranda overlooking
the plains. One tent can be converted into a triple
on request. Each tent has its own 24 hour solar
lighting system. A radio call is fitted in each tent
for security.
A large open sided dining tent overlooking the
plains also hosts a relaxing lounge area with a
selection of reference books curio shop selling
mostly the work of local Masai staff members. Most
meals are taken alfresco.
