Ngulia Safari lodge
Ngulia Safari lodge is situated spectacularly on
the edge of Ndawe Escarpment, offering a vast
panorama of Tsavo West's sweeping plains. Ngulia is
an ideal base from which to explore Tsavo West where
all of the Big Five: elephant, lion, leopard,
buffalo and rhino - can be found here.
A spectacular backdrop to the abundant wildlife is
the snow covered dome of Mount Kilimanjaro, the
highest peak on the entire African continent. When
in the heat of the day the animals disappear, guests
can swim in the lodge's pool or take a drive to the
oasis of Mzima Springs. At Ngulia Safari Lodge, a
special viewing facility allows the observer to view
hippo wallowing with surprising grace from below the
water line.
